The Cortland women’s basketball team hit some clutch shots down the stretch in defeating Oswego State 80-73 in the ECAC Upstate semifinals, hosted by Oneonta State. Oswego State concluded its season with a 15-12 record. Cortland (23-6) will now play in the championship game Sunday against rival Oneonta beginning at 2 p.m.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit and defeated visiting St. John Fisher 83-73 on Wednesday night in an ECAC Upstate Tournament first-round game at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team received word on Monday that it has earned a spot in the 2008 ECAC Upstate Championship Tournament, and will play a home game versus St. John Fisher College on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
